Gallery Seven began with a group of seven Fine Art photographers in Joliet, IL in 2007, moving to the historic Gaylord Building in downtown Lockport in 2018. The types of art we show has since grown to include Photography, Pen and Ink, Oil Painting, Assemblage Art, Watercolor, Woodturning, and Jewelry. The artists we represent range from local artists to those internationally acclaimed.

The Gallery holds two juried shows a year: the Open Lens photography show in June, and the Illiart: Artists of Illinois show in October.
We also host many artists and art group shows, including the Chicago Society of Artists, the Lemont Artist Guild and a Lockport Township High School student exhibition.
There’s no better way to kick off a summer weekend than with Fridays in the Park. This lively, family-fun and pet-friendly concert series is hosted by Gallery Seven and the City of Lockport at Lincoln Landing, along the historic Illinois and Michigan Canal in downtown Lockport. The event takes place on the first Friday of every month beginning in June and ending in September, with each gathering running from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and live music beginning at 7:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and of course your kids and pets! Get up and dance, sing along and enjoy a comfortable evening outdoors.
Celebrate the spirit of the season at Gallery Seven as we open our doors for the Holiday Gift Show. Gallery Seven’s annual Holiday Gift Show opens on November 22nd but don't miss the open house on Saturday, November 29th, from 12pm to 5pm, coinciding with Lockport’s Christmas in the Square celebrations. Guests are invited to start their holiday festivities in downtown Lockport and stop by Gallery Seven for artful holiday shopping and light refreshments. The Holiday Gift Show will run through January 8, 2026.
