Ford Model T, Rick Decorie

Ford Model T
This is the radiator of a 1921 Ford Model T truck, shot at a small car show outside the old courthouse museum in Watseka, Illinois. The Fort Model T was produced from 1908 to 1927, and is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile.
The Model T was produced in 15 body styles, including a chassis only for independent coach builders.
Four years after this truck was made, Ford began making pickup trucks.
I had just chanced upon this vehicle as I was driving around looking for things to shoot.
Out of all the vehicles at the show, this was the only one I photographed. From all the shots I took, this one stood out as a keeper.
After exporting it in the Lightroom, I cropped the photo to emphasize the radiator more.
I sharpened it before converting it to black and white.
After all, Henry Ford said he made vehicles in any color as long as it was black.
Why mess with tradition?
